How We Choose Our Partners and Suppliers

First and foremost, as a seasoned professional in procurement and quality control with 6 years of experience in corporate gift procurement, I've developed a habit of avoiding excessively cheap products due to the high risk of defects and overall poor quality.

In reality, there's a defect rate in every batch of goods, and it's a common occurrence. Quality products just have it in minimal quantities. Concerning our store, we unquestionably facilitate exchanges for items found to be defective. The only exceptions are when it's clear that the product was misused.

If defects become frequent, we replace that particular product with a higher quality alternative. When I initially planned to open this store, I decided to work with technologies I was familiar with and had stood the test of time. Sublimation, direct printing, and engraving yield outstanding results, provided you select the right design and perfectly adapt it to the product.

I have several suppliers, and they are excellent, each with their flagship products. I have a few criteria that I don't compromise on when choosing a supplier:

  1. Legitimacy and Quality Certificates: All suppliers operate legally within the USA or Europe and possess quality certificates.
  2. Labor Laws Compliance: Suppliers adhere to labor laws concerning their employees. This is significant to me, ensuring that those who supply our products treat their workers with respect for their lives and health.
  3. Quality Assurance: Suppliers take genuine responsibility for the quality of production and delivery timelines.

In the store, you won't find a single item that I wouldn't purchase for myself. If I personally don't like a product, even if I have invested a lot of time in its development, I remove it.

However, if you have ideas for products you'd like to see with our prints, you can reach out to us at support@verdancys.com or through the chat.

I strive to add only high-quality and environmentally friendly products to our store. For instance, recycled nylon has its own unique properties, and it's not always as elastic as it should be. This elasticity is essential, especially for fitness or yoga wear, so I prioritize the physical qualities of a product over its ecological properties in some cases. If leggings made from recycled nylon lack sufficient elasticity or softness, I can't add them to our range until the supplier improves the manufacturing process.

I choose all clothing, home goods, and bags with a focus on products where I can be confident in the quality of manufacture. In the most cases, our products are made in the USA with components sourced from other parts of the world. This allows us better control over quality compared to direct imports from China.
