VerdancyS Sustainability Principles

I truly believe that the one of the core sustainability principles is conscious consumption. By this, I mean the practice of ensuring that each new item we bring into our lives serves a purpose and is truly necessary. It's not just about the things themselves; it's about the quantity of things. Quality products enable us to use them for longer periods, reducing the need for more production overall.

We won't save the world only by using only organic cotton, paper, wood, or recycled nylon. These production processes, on their own, still cause significant harm to the environment. The world simply can't cope with the amount of waste generated, a result of excessive production, thoughtless consumerism, and 'fast fashion.'

When I learned about the possibility of producing items on-demand and in small batches, I realized I had found the ideal way of manufacturing.

From my previous work experience in trade companies, I often encountered situations where excess stock became difficult to sell, even during clearance sales (even not to mention instances of defective batches, which was a nightmare!). During similar cases, companies faced with the dilemma of what to do with these surplus items. Disposing of them through waste disposal processes costs as much, if not more, than storing them in warehouses. This is a challenge many companies face.

Furthermore, mass production often compromises quality, such as in full-color printing on t-shirts. When produced in smaller batches, they tend to be of higher quality because settings and ink quality are more frequently checked.

Shipping and production might take a little more time than buying ready-made items, but they offer a significant advantage. With us, you become the owner of a wonderful piece with an exclusive print that sets you apart from the crowd and is inherently aligned with ecological principles.
